With ARXivar OCR it is finally possible to capture and edit the text of scanned documents. The captured text is associated with the document and you can modify and use it to refine the search for documents in the repository using the Full Text search.

Full Text Search

The OCR algorithm performs cleanup and text chaining of the words to improve the acquisition. It also allows to interpret the texts in all European languages.

The Full Text Search works at an amazing speed (two thirds seconds to find a document on a documentary archive of thousands of files). This thanks to the use of sophisticated technologies integrated into the database engine (full-text catalogs.)
