A series of information is associated to each document and this information characterizes it. The document profile fields can be customized by the administrator depending on the type of document. All fields defined in the profile are searchable keywords.

Structuring the fields definitions
In ArXivar you can define the fields which characterize the profile of the document, i.e. the information describing the document (eg sender, recipient, subject, date ...). In addition to standard fields, it is possible to add additional user-defined fields. These additional fields can be of generic type, that is applied on all documents, or specific, that is applied only to certain types of documents.

These additional fields (combo box or tabular) can be related to the ERP to find some profile information directly from the ERP system in real time during archiving.
